Dinner with Josh and Lindsay.

Up and out of the park by 9:00.  We arrived in Gettysburg, PA around 4:00 this afternoon and got set up.  The ground here is saturated with water.  Guess it rained here a lot recently.

Robert called us today to let us know all our family at home was ok.  Tornadoes ripped through Madison, Clinton, Jackson and other parts of Mississippi earlier today causing considerable damage and some injuries.  It seems every year around this time tornadoes make an appearance.

Tonight our friends Josh and Lindsay came over.  We gave them the grand tour of our RV home then we all went out to dinner at a place called Bay City Seafood.  Afterwards we went to Josh and Lindsay’s to see their new home.  Thanks Josh and Lindsay for a wonderful evening.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. wow! You drove all day without stopping overnight? How far a distance is it from where you were? We usually don't do more than 3-4 hours of driving a day...just curious. Loretta

  2. Loretta,
We usually don't either. Try to keep it around 200 miles. I had originally scheduled a stop in between but found out the campground was closed. We just drove on through. We will have to done some 300 mile drives in June (GA-WY). Meeting Bridget's sister and BIL in WY.
