Ok, enough rain already!

Woke up to overcast skies. By mid-morning the rain was back. John checked the forecast on line to see what the next few days are supposed to be like. We will be here for 11 more days and guess what? Rain is in the forecast for 10 of those days. I told John, “You have got to be kidding me”. LOL Below are pictures of the view from our door. This was after the rain had stopped for a little while. The ground is so saturated that your feet sink when you step on the grass.

We would like to go sightseeing while here and get pictures of the battlefield monuments but it is hard to do with this weather.

This afternoon John got a call from our friend Josh about a package he had received for us. The DRV Plant shipped the items to us that they weren’t able to fix or did not have on hand while we were in Indiana. John ventured out in the rain to pick up the package. When he got home he installed the re-strung day/night shades and the power management system display which unfortunately did not correct the problem. He is just so handy.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for a rain-free day tomorrow. LOL

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.

  2. If April showers bring May flowers, what will April heavy rainstorm bring?

Maybe head east to visit New York City? It's less rainny there, notice I didn't say rain-free. :(
