Birthdays, Anniversaries and Dinners with friends.

While in Kerrville, TX our friends Mike and Leslie surprised me with a birthday dinner and party.  It was so nice of them. Thanks Mike and Leslie for a memorable birthday.

On March 3rd we traveled on to Las Cruces, NM and met up with friends Roger and Barb Maxey.  Later that night John and I joined friends Ron and Donna Markey for dinner.  A big thank you to them for a wonderful dinner.

The next day we were on the road to Benson, AZ.  We stopped off in Deming, MN and had breakfast with friends John and Janet Chartier.  It had been two years since we last saw them.  So good to catch up with them.

We arrived in Benson, AZ on March 4th and stayed at Cochise Terrace RV Park where our friends Barb and Bob are volunteering.  Even though we were there for an overnight stay we were able to get in a few games of ladder golf and 10 Penny.  We had a great time and look forward to seeing them in Tucson at the Escapees Rally.

Sunday, March 5th, we were off and on our way to Tucson, AZ to get ready for the Escapees Rally.   March 5th was also my Mom and Dad's 58th Wedding Anniversary.  Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad, love you and hope you had a wonderful day.

We have been busy with parking team stuff since our arrival in Tucson.  Next week will be a very busy week for us with getting all the parking stuff completed before the rest of the staff arrives.

Tomorrow will be my sister and her husband's 27th Wedding Anniversary.  Happy Anniversary Annie and Terry, love you.

We are still having problems with our blog and hope to get some ideas on how to fix things while at the rally.

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.

Updates

A lot has happened since our last post.  My Mom's cancer returned after 24 years of being cancer free.  The good news was only a one centimeter spot that was non-aggressive and slow growing.  She underwent surgery on January 16th to remove the cancer.  After that surgery, the pathology report showed "feelers" were there and needed to be scraped out.  She underwent a second surgery to remove the "feelers" and all went well.  Today she returned for her check up and is doing well.  She will have to see the oncologist to see if anything further is needed.

Before leaving Mississippi, we went to our youngest granddaughter Shelby's birthday party. Can't believe she is already three years old.

We visited with Mom Hatch before hitting the road.  She is doing well.

We left Mississippi on February 17th, our first stop was Beaumont, Texas.  While in the Beaumont area we were able to visit several of my cousins, aunts and an uncle.

Our second stop was Canyon Lake, TX where my Uncle Michael and Aunt Sylvia live.  We spent a few days visiting and sightseeing with them before moving on to Kerrville, TX.
