Lunch with Roger and Charlotte

Our day started with mild temperatures in the upper 50s and sunny skies. It is hard to believe that the temperature will be 19 later on tonight.  I am REALLY NOT liking that.

We drove down to Mendenhall, MS to meet up with our friends and fellow RVers Roger and Charlotte whom we met while workcamping in North Dokata this summer.  We ate at a place called Louise's right off Highway 49 in Mendenhall.   They had a buffet with all sorts of meats and vegetables and, of course, lots of desserts to chose from. It was very tasty.  We enjoyed our visit with Roger and Charlotte and hope to see them again down the road real soon.

While at Louise's former firefighter Chaston and his girlfriend Stephanie stopped by our table to say hello.  It was good to see Chaston as we haven't seen him since we were home last year.

On the way home it began raining and the temperatures started falling slowly.  I am not looking forward to the morning commute if the roads are icy.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. So you are working for a while? New baby on the way!!! Congrats to you both. Sherri and I are on a short leash with Kris back in school. We are still traveling in the summer and the weeks off at Christmas etc. Would love to see you two. Miss you both so much.

  2. If the roads are Icy we don't move. It's better to be safe than sorry.

    It's about time.

  3. 43 degrees here in the Rio Grande Valley...Our kids are right in the middle up there in the Midwest...-17 in Indy playing outdoors for the kids, and their daycare was closed!
