The rain finally left.

We woke up to gray rainy skies but as the day progressed the skies turned a little bluer and by early afternoon the rain was gone.  We are so glad the farmers got some much needed rain but are also glad it has stopped for a while. 
Since the weather was so bad it was a good day to clean out the refrigerator and stuff like that.  So much fun….NOT! LOL
Tonight Mike and Leslie came over for dinner.  Mike grilled a flat iron steak and Leslie cooked a cherry tart.  We combined all our stuff together and had a great meal.

Flat iron steak, fresh corn, yellow beans, squash, cucumbers and tomatoes.  Yum Yum.

Cherry tart with a small scoop of ice cream.  It was so delicious.
Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without a round or two of 10 Penny.
Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

    I love it that you take the time to make some really neat meals...Mostly Den grills outside, but we try to have a couple veggies and salad with our entree (which is meat of some kind)....It finally started raining here and we need some more!
