We met a young couple on the trail who were on their way to go fishing.  We took their picture for them so they took one for us.  They were hoping the fish were biting because that was going to be their dinner.  Sure hope the fish were biting.

We came across a family at this funny looking tree.  They were trying to remake a photo of themselves.  This was their second visit.  The first was seven years ago.  On their first trip they took a picture at this tree.  We took the picture for them and they insisted that we have our picture taken here also.
After this hike we weren’t really tired so we hiked to John’s lake.  This hike is a 1.8 mile hike.

Chicken Enchiladas

This morning we got a two mile walk in.  I wore my new hiking shoes again and my feet did not bother me at all. Yeah!!!

John was in the kitchen cooking this afternoon.  He made chicken enchiladas for dinner.  They were yummy.  While John was cooking Fred was chilling out and napping.

After dinner tonight we played three rounds of 10 Penny.  That is always fun.  I had my camera ready just in case the big deer came walking through Aunt Eloise’s back yard again.  He showed up around the same time as the night before.

He always stops and stares at us from across the bayou.

Ladies day out.

Today Aunt Eloise and I had a ladies day out.  Our first stop was Crevier’s School of Cosmetology for hair cuts.  This is the place she and I went to two years ago when we were visiting.  A very good place to go.  Our next stop was Herberger’s at the mall.  They were having a big  75% off sale but neither of us found anything we just couldn’t live without.  On our way out of the mall we decided to have lunch at Dairy Queen.   Finally, our last stop was Super One grocery store.  Love the produce there.
When we got home John had already baked a carrot soufflĂ© to go with our quinoa and baked lemon shrimp for dinner.  Very tasty.

We ended our evening with a couple rounds of 10 Penny and deer watching.  Just before dark we saw a buck with three does right out Aunt Eloise's back door.

Sorry the picture is blurry.  This is zoomed in a much as I could get.  Here are two does with the buck.  Last  night there were two bucks walking around out there.

The Back Room.

Aunt Eloise’s property has a bayou that runs through it.  She and John noticed the water starting to back up so John decided to go check out the source.  A bridge that crosses over the bayou on the other end of the property had logs and sticks causing a blockage.  After lunch John went over to clear out the blockage.  He was able to get a large portion of it removed so hopefully things we be back to normal.
Tonight John and I went with Aunt Eloise and her grandson, Nathaniel to The Back Room.  The Back Room is a unique restaurant that has a magician who performs card tricks and other magic at the tables of the customers.  We ate here on our visit two years ago and enjoyed it very much.  The magician, Dan Jimmerson, is an old friend of Aunt Eloise so she was glad to visit with him.  If you are in the area Mr. Jimmerson performs magic and card tricks at The Back Room every Thursday night.    Thanks Aunt Eloise for treating us to such a nice night out.

Trip to Bibler Home and Gardens.

Today Aunt Eloise treated us to a tour of Bibler Home and Gardens.  What a magnificent place it is . Bibler Gardens is a private display garden in Kalispell, Montana designed by Sam Bibler.  He landscaped, planted and maintained the gardens at his home from around 1980 until his death in 2002.  While touring the property we saw gardens, ponds, waterfalls, sculptures as well as a log stable with animals.  It is truly a sight to see.  If you would like to read more about Bibler Home and Gardens here is the link:  http://www.biblergardens.org/
Bibler Gardens was so beautiful it was hard to chose what pictures to post. Below are some of the pictures we took on our tour.

Our tour lasted for an hour and a half and included a tour of the home and the gardens.  Such a wonderful place to visit.  The picturesque scenery reminds me of a Thomas Kinkaid painting.  Thank you to Aunt Eloise for treating us to this.  We enjoyed it so much.
