Visiting with cousin Kathy and her family.

My cousin Kathy and her family drove down to Pass Christian last night for the weekend.   This morning they came over and visited for a while then we decided to go out for lunch.  We decided on White Cap Seafood Restaurant.  The last time John and I ate at White Cap was before Katrina took it away.  Glad to see they rebuilt.  John and I split a shrimp po-boy.  It was delicious.
Tonight we met Kathy and her family at their favorite seafood place, Shaggy’s.   This is a very cool place to eat located right on the water.  John ordered the fried shrimp and I chose the special, blackened amberjack with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.  Everything was very tasty.  Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the plates.

    How special getting to spend time with family. Sherry and I were down in that area a couple of years ago.

    You are killin' me with the seafood restaurants!!! Closest I get is heating up some cardboard-like crabcakes in the oven here....BOOOOOOO!
