Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, VA

Made to Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville, VA before 4:00 p.m. and got set up.  This is one of my favorite parks.  We were here two years ago and enjoyed our stay and knew we would come back.

Every site has patio furniture and a grill on it.  Some have a grill with a sink.  There are also sites with hot tubs.

Before long we were getting hungry so John got busy grilling the chicken while I fixed the rest inside.  While he was grilling a couple stopped by to ask about the Mobile Suites.  They were from Hattiesburg, MS which is about 90 miles from where we used to live.  We don’t run into very many people from MS.

The weather was so nice we decided to eat outside. Right as we finished with dinner the rain moved in.  Hopefully it will move on out quickly.

Grilled chicken, slice cucumbers, fried squash and vegetable pasta with garlic sauce.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  3. Hi Bridget,

Just curious -- are you guys Bluegreen members, or is anybody able to camp there. I ask because we used to own a bluegreen timeshare, but finally were able to unload it a year or so ago (just didn't use it enough)

Anyway, the campground looks really nice -- I knew they had fixed it up, but haven't stayed there yet. We stayed at the resort in one of the little cabins quite a few years ago, and really enjoyed the area.

Enjoy your stay, and I hope John is feeling better soon!
