GEM car goes to Fargo.

We got up a little later this morning.  Fred, our alarm clock, is sleeping later these days.  The park manager called us and asked if we would like to go on a road trip to Fargo to take the GEM car (4 seater electric) to the repair shop.  It has been repaired several times but seems to keep having problems.

The GEM car.  (This is the car we use for our work)

Since the GEM car is not working we use the Workman vehicle.

The Workman.

Later in the afternoon John took the Freightliner to Valley City to fuel it up.  It was $3.86 a gallon which was the cheapest price closest to us.

The park will probably start filling up tomorrow with people who will be attending the Sodbuster Days event in the park this weekend.  There will be a National Anthem Cannon Volley, Norswedane dancers, a pie auction, a silent auction, old fashioned chicken supper, a military ball, horsepower threshing, horsepower farming and many other activities. We have been told 2 to 3 thousand people attend this annual event.  It should be very entertaining.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. Both of those vehicles remind me of a dog..a Pekinese..smashed in noses...If we could go to any event involving pie, and dancing plus chicken dinner, we would be there in a heartbeat.
