Bear Tooth Highway

This morning we packed a picnic lunch and headed out to Bear Tooth Highway.  On the way there we traveled through Yellowstone again and stopped a few times looking for wildlife.  John saw a grizzly bear through binoculars but it moved away so fast he lost sight of it before anyone else could see it. Bummer.  Of course, we saw the usual deer, elk, buffalo and ground squirrels walking about.

It was around lunch time when we entered the Bear Tooth Highway area.  The scenery was very beautiful and well worth the trip.  Lots of snow still on the mountains.

We returned home this afternoon to high winds and some rain.  Hopefully this will just pass through.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. Beautiful photos! Are you anywhere near the oil spill? How awful to mess up such pristine water!
