The Back Room

John started his morning off on the phone with GE, again.  It seems GE scheduled an appointment to have our convection oven repaired by a company that does not repair appliances in RVs.  After holding on the phone and being disconnected John finally talked to a lady that went the extra mile to help him.  She found a repair service that will come to the RV for the repair and she was able to schedule it during our stay in Gillette, WY.

The next order of business today was the insurance adjuster.  He arrived and filled out all the necessary paperwork to expedite our claim.  Hopefully the parts will be in soon.

Tonight Aunt Eloise treated us to dinner at a place called The Back Room.   An old friend of Aunt Eloise’s, Dan Jimmerson, is a magician who performs magic tricks for the customers while they dine.  Very unique place.  The food and atmosphere were great.  We enjoyed meeting Dan and watching him do his magic tricks.  Thanks Aunt Eloise for a great night.

I remembered to take a picture of the food this time.  All the entrees were served with what the restaurant calls trimmings.  It consists of baby red potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans and fry bread.

After our wonderful meal we returned to Aunt Eloise’s for a rematch of 10 Penny.  John was the winner of both rounds.  I think tomorrow we will have to have a rematch. LOL

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.
