Today is my mom, Marcy’s birthday and also John’s nephew Harold’s birthday.
Happy Birthday Mom.
Happy Birthday Harold.
This afternoon John and I went on a walk through with the ranger as he performed a checkout for the group who rented the group camp facilities for the weekend. There was only one room that the ranger made the group go back and re-sweep before he approved their checkout. These are the facilities that John and I will be cleaning tomorrow. It doesn’t look like there will be much to clean.
Tonight all the work campers decided to have dinner at Buckner’s Family Restaurant. We went early so that we would be back in time to watch the super bowl. The food was delicious. Good ole Southern style cooking. Each table has a lazy Susan in the middle so you can serve yourself.
This is John’s dessert. Cornbread with honey and peach cobbler on top. He said it was yummy.
The view from my seat.
Our group from left to right: Jerry, Joyce, Pete, Audrey, John, Me and Dick.
We had a great time. They are a fun group of people.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
