Today is my Dad’s birthday.  Happy Birthday Dad.  Hope you had a fun day today.  Love you.

This afternoon John and I ventured out for more sightseeing.  Our destination today was The Boardwalk along the beach.  The weather was mild with a high of 79 so walking  outside was nice. The beach area was very crowded.

We walked under a couple of piers along the beach.   The water was nice and warm.

By the time we finished our stroll on the beach it was time to think about what to eat for dinner.   On the way back to the campground we stopped off at Kroger to pick up some steaks.  Our neighbor told me that Kroger had filets on sale and that they bought some the night before and were pleased with them.  We haven’t had steak in a while so it sounded like a good idea.  John cooked them and they were so good.  You could cut it with a butter knife.  I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture.
