Happy Birthday to our niece Savannah. She turned 16 years old today. We hope she had an awesome day today.

Woke up to gray skies this morning. As the day progress we heard the sound of thunder. Oh no. Fred doesn’t like thunder at all. He was not a happy camper.
Later in the afternoon we heard a knock on our door. Our visitor turned out to be Sue, fellow Escapee Member, who was also traveling from Sedalia to Branson. She invited us for happy hour at her site. We visited for a couple of hours sharing travel stories and such before light rain started to fall.
John was able to grill some bacon cheddar brats for dinner before the heavy rain moved in. Around 10:30 p.m. thunder, lightening, rain and hail began. Fred was really freaking out. The hail didn’t last long but the thunder, lightening and rain remained until well after midnight. Tomorrow’s weather forecast shows an 80% percent chance of rain. Poor Fred he won’t be happy about that either.

Our Beagle Bailey did not like thunder either...she typically ended up in bed with us most nights when it occurred.
