Shoshone National Park Fire Fighter Memorial

Slept in until 9:00 again.  Fred sure is getting lazy. LOL   I cooked a gallon of spaghetti and meat sauce, divided it into quarts to freeze for later.  It sure comes in handy when I don’t feel like cooking.

Later on in the afternoon John and I drove over to the Shoshone National Park.  Our first stop was the Fire Fighter Memorial in memory of the 14 fire fighters who died in the Blackwater Fire in August, 1937.

John and I hiked over to the water behind the memorial to enjoy the view.

After leaving the memorial we  drove through several campgrounds to take a look at the facilities then stopped off at several places to get some pictures.  There is so much to look at and lots of beautiful scenery.
