Up early and off to clean cabins with Pat. John had his regular bath house cleaning and camp site loop to check. On our way to the other side of the park this afternoon we saw a couple of Blue Herons walking around amongst the trees. I had the camera with me so I tried snapped a picture.
The herons are in the center of this picture. They are almost the same color as the trees and are hard to see. Of course, this picture is a little blurry. I tried to zoom in but somehow it didn’t turn out just right.
This morning while cleaning one of the cabins I turned around to go get more cleaning supplies and struck my toe on a table. Ouch! It really did hurt. I wanted to say several ugly words but managed to keep my mouth shut. LOL
…..and this was my good foot. LOL I think it is just bruised. Tonight it is a little swollen and has turned a darker shade of purple but I can still walk around. Yeah!!
John cooked steak fajitas for dinner tonight. Enjoyed them very much.
Tomorrow afternoon when we get finished with things around the park we will be traveling to visit Harold and Sandie and their family in Jacksonville. It will be so good to see them. I know we will have 10 Penny rematches and introduce them to Chase the Ace. That will be fun.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
That is one bad toe girl!! I did that not too long ago and it took a good while for it to heal.

Having recently recovered from bruising one of my toes, I feel your pain. Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time and most assuredly won't be the last either. :-(
ReplyDeleteIt's all crooked! Cool! I'd post what my foot looked like when we dropped a solid wood cabinet on it but we wouldn't want people to throw up all over the blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope it feels better soon.
