Snow in Mississippi.

Last night John and I were invited to have dinner with friends Nathan and Connie. Nathan prepared grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, corn, green beans and cheddar bay biscuits.  It was very very tasty.  After dinner we played a round of Golf and John was the winner.  Thanks Nathan and Connie for a very nice dinner.

This morning we woke up to 32 degrees and snow.

As you can see there isn’t much accumulation of snow in the park.  Temperatures rose into the 40s so the snow melted away.  Other parts of Mississippi received up to 2 inches of snow.  As usual when the “snow event” happens the schools close.

Today I had lunch with friend and former co-worker Lea Anne.  I have not seen her in about two years so it was nice to catch up with her.  Thank you Lea Anne for lunch.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. Our Shangrila ended yesterday afternoon when the cold front came roaring thru...Dropped from high 80's to low 60's in about 15 minutes...but no snow...

  2. I love to see the snow falling but I don't like to get out in it. We have no snow and I hope it stays that way until we are further south.
