Awesome Parking Team

We have been extremely busy since the last blog post.  Starting with Wednesday and Thursday staff began arriving and were parked.  Friday through Sunday general attendees arrived and had to be parked.  Each day the parking team met at 7:00 a.m. and were in place at their work areas by 7:30.  We were blessed with sunny weather everyday.  The mornings were quite chilly but warmed up nicely by the afternoon.   A huge thank you to the parking team for a job well done.  They are an awesome group to work with.

Barb and I on the first parking day.  It was a cold morning.  We were getting ready to take hot coffee out the the parking crew.

Sunday at 2:00 p.m. parking was closed and it was time to head over to the opening ceremoinies at 3:00.

Last night we had a pot luck dinner for the parking team as well as security and customer serivce.  It is our way of saying thank you very much for a job well done.  We could not have accomplished everything without this group of people.

  1. LOVE that Susan's hat! You can see her coming a long way, nobody's gonna hit her in a parking lot.....
Thanks for all the volunteer efforts--- without people like you, big events could never take place.

  2. Looks cold there? The weather here turned warm when we got back from the coast. We had a great time and really want to head out again. Oh well in time.
