Thanks to everyone for all my birthday wishes. I really really appreciated them. John cooked me a delicious breakfast this morning then we spent our day visiting with Bill, Tambra, Mom Hatch and Aunt Martha.
Bill treated us all to some burgers from a local place called Char Broil. We enjoyed great burgers as well as a side dish called Texas Toothpicks. I think these were onions and peppers cut into strips, battered and deep fried. Never had those before. They were quite tasty. Thank you Bill for a nice dinner.
We finished our night with several rounds of 10 Penny. I don’t remember who won how many rounds but I recall the cards not being kind to John. I bet he will get us all the next game. LOL
