New Table & Short People Alterations.

Got up at 5:15 a.m. this morning! Uck……much too early to be motivating. LOL A few minutes after 6:00 a.m. our tech, known as Fly, knocked on our door for our appointment. He pulled our RV into the plant then went over each item on our list with us. He estimated having everything done by Wednesday afternoon. That means we will be camping out in the DRV plant parking lot until then. Also, while the RV is being worked on poor Fred is more or less confined to the truck most of the day. Today we went sightseeing and had lunch in Shipshewana at the Dutch Maid Diner. We ate the Dutch Maid when we were here last July and enjoyed it very much. The food was great again this time.

Below are pictures of some of the items that were fixed today. The first one is the table. We had had the 2011 Mobile Suites for about a month when we noticed the wood was splitting. They replaced it with a different style table. I think I will like this one a lot better. Some of our friends have tables like this one and they are very satisfied.

Here is the new table that replaced our splitting table.

The new table also has storage space.

It also has an extension that pulls up at the end of the table.

The next item was the bathroom door. It was warped and we sometimes had a problem getting it to close properly.

Here is the new door. I was so happy that the tech mounted the hooks on the back of this door lower. Now I can actually reach them. LOL

Another item that was fixed was the shower head holder. John asked the guy to add another one……low enough for me to reach. Yeah!!

Here the shower head in the tall people position.

Here is the shower head in the short people position. It really doesn’t take much to excite me. LOL

There are 52 items on our list. The tech was able to knock out 21 of the items today. Not bad. Tomorrow we will have to find something to amuse ourselves with while they proceed down the list.

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.

  2. How short are you.. Donna is 5_11, and I'm 5_10, mu sister Wendy is 4_11. now she has to have something like that low shower, I put one of those Europe style hand held models and installed a bracket for her when I was up in PA. last fall, along with handrails for the stairs. John looks like he is about 6_0 . So the high bracket would be handy for him. Just e safe out there. Sam & Donna..
