Death Valley, CA

Today we packed a picnic lunch and took off on a day trip and drove through part of Death Valley National Park.   It was very hot.  At one point the thermometer read 110 degrees.  That is freaking hot. LOL

It was late afternoon by the time we made it back home.  Fred was glad to see us and get his dinner.

  1. Great photos!! I don't like the words "bad" and "water" in the same sentence!!!!!! We crossed Death Valley...once...in a 1969 Olds Cutless, no air and a 10 month old son...NEVER AGAIN!

  2. Be sure and not miss Scottie's Castle. We loved the place and the story. Also the ghost town of Rhyolite.
