Travel Day

This morning we got up around 9, checkout is 11:30. After breakfast and showers we headed out for Summerdale, AL right at 11:30. Escapees park Rainbow Plantation was about a 2.5 hour drive, 141 miles. It was an uneventful trip, since we are not in a hurry I have slowed my towing speed down to 62 on the interstates and the speed limit on all other roads. After checking in and setting up we decided to eat at Lambert's. We have enjoyed Lambert's since discovering them back in the 90's at Sikeston, MO. We are still having electrical problems so an RV tech will be out in the morning. The weather has been overcast with off and on rain showers yesterday. Bridget took Fred on two walks today here at the park, paved roads with 30/50 FHU sand/grass sites.

Stay Safe

  1. Just popped in for a visit. We are in Oregon now, leaving tomorrow for Washington. Eventually getting to Alaska. I love Lambert's. The bread is to die for.

    Happy Trails,
    Chris
