Today we just chilled out at the park. It stayed in the 40s so it was a good day to stay inside. John made a big batch of his dark chocolate oatmeal raisin cookies. They are yummy. It is hard not to eat a bunch. LOL
I finally ventured out to take a few pictures of the park.
The view across the road from our site.
Another view from across the road.
Our site.
The view of the other sites from our site.
This is the view going toward the front of the park.
The park is rather empty on our end right now. We did get a new neighbor today in an Airstream but have not seen them. I think they left after setting up. It is really quiet and peaceful here with beautiful scenery.
Tomorrow we will be traveling with my cousin Tricia and her two children to St. Louis to tour the arch. John and I toured it back in 1989 when we took our first camper out for a vacation. Sure doesn’t seem like it has been that long but time does fly.
Several people have asked about 10 Penny so John posted a link below Fred’s picture on the side bar.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
I ain't usually one to point out the obvious to the oblivious, but, do ya think that you yourownselves might have somethin' to do with nobody a stayin' at yer end of the park?
ReplyDeleteIf all them empty spaces where its so purrty ain't enough, the fact them hairstream folks come in, set up and immeleoritely left mite be a strong hint.
Maybe you been a using the same bath water to many weeks in row or somethin'. I.M. tryin' to be helpful as always.
