More rain today. Uck!!! John cooked sausage gravy and biscuits for all of us this morning. It was so good. I know that is not diet food but sometimes you just have a taste for biscuits and gravy. LOL
The rain continued on and off most of the morning then by early afternoon the sun came out. We were hoping that was the end of the rain but ….NO….. It started up again just as Mike and John ventured out to the grocery store for some French bread to go with the spaghetti Leslie was was making.
We enjoyed a delicious meal while it stormed outside. Of course the night would not be complete without some 10 Penny. John and Mike were the winners tonight. I think we will have a rematch. LOL

Oh how we long to have good rain here in Louisiana! It is still so very dry and we heard on the news this morn, our favorite duck pond has almost dryed up! Some of the children there were crying their little eyes out!
