Tombstone, Bisbee and the Huachuca Mountains.

Woke up to a bright sunny day.   Perfect weather for a road trip.  We packed a lunch and set off for Tombstone, Bisbee and the Huachuca Mountains.  Our first stop was Tombstone.  Lots of little shops and restaurants and of course, the shootout at the O K Corral.  This is definitely a place for tourists to spend money.  The only money we spent there was for a stone washed Tombstone T-Shirt.

BISBEE:

The Lavender Pit.  To read about The Lavender Pit click here:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavender_Pit

HUACHUCA MOUNTAINS:  Elevation 7400 feet.

We traveled the road all the way to the top.  It was very dusty and rocky.   There is a campground a the top as well as a day use area.  Beautiful scenery.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  2. Looks like fun to me. I think the ride up in the mountains would be the most fun. We will just have to do that...Thanks for the info.
