Stayed in most of the day.  The weather is a lot calmer today…..no rain.  We heard from our son Robert this afternoon.  He and Kelsey had been without power for almost 24 hours.  They live in Pearl, Mississippi which sustained damage from the storms last night.  Luckily their house was spared.

John cooked cabbage, black-eyed peas and cornbread for our New Year’s lunch today.  It was very tasty.

Tonight we went over to Bob and Marcy’s to pick up a package and to play some 10 Penny.  I can’t believe it but I won the first round with a score of 85.  John won the next two rounds with scores of 35 and 75.  I know we will have another rematch. LOL
