Up around 9, had breakfast, then it was off to TN. We made it to Raccoon Valley RV Park at 2:30. It is COLD here. It was in the mid 30s when we got here and is supposed to drop into the 20s tonight. I want some warmer weather.
Our site.
You can tell there aren’t many people staying in the park right now.
Fenced in dog run. Fred really likes this.
Fred enjoying the dog run.
Fred doing his favorite thing……..sniffing. LOL
Later this afternoon we made the usual Wal-Mart run for a few groceries. Tonight we had chicken cooked in pineapple juice with red peppers and onions, green beans and whole grain pasta with sweet red peppers, green onions and grape tomatoes.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
Welcome to Tennessee...sorry it's so cold!!!...If you need anything let me know...I'm not too far away!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some good photos of the installation process of your new bed. I know you are excited to get this done.
ReplyDeleteThat dinner looks SO good!!!
ReplyDeleteGet you some REAL Pork BBQ while your there and don't forget the coleslaw and hoe cakes.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad lives in Clarksville and introduced me to it years ago. Today, here at home, Rod just put two pork butts on the smoker for us to enjoy. I can't wait! :)
Stay warm, get some BBQ. :)
Take care,
Connie
We have been to that park when it was crowded. Looks like you are almost alone now. We heard they were going to add another section.
ReplyDeleteI guess everyone has moved to FL :)
You kids are really being good at your healthier foods...better than us, with pizza last night! I think it's cold all through the Midwest...Dennis and I are both really crabby about it, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteWe stayed there a few times too. My friends live a couple miles away. Sometimes it can be 60 one day and then 20 the next there. Strange.
ReplyDeleteThe next exit up the highway is a cool place if you like museums, called The Museum of Appelachia http://www.museumofappalachia.org/
2819 Andersonville Hwy.
Clinton, TN 37716
My friend sells handwovens in the studio across the road from there.
