Happy Easter

Friday afternoon after John and I were both finished with our park duties we (including Fred) headed to Jacksonville to spend the weekend with his brother Harold and his family.  Harold grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner that night.  Thanks Harold it was very tasty.  Later that night we all sat down and enjoyed several rounds of Chase the Ace.

Saturday morning we ran a few errands and made a Wal-mart run for items to bring to St. Augustine on Sunday.   Later in the afternoon Bill and Loretta (friends of Harold and Sandie) who follow our blog and are also fulltimers, came by to meet us.  We had a nice time sharing traveling stories and RV stuff.  It was good to finally meet them.  We hope to see them down the road again soon.

Saturday night Nicole prepared a spaghetti dinner for everyone.  Thanks for a delicious meal Nicole.  Of course our night would not  be complete without a game or two.  We played several rounds of Chase the Ace.  It became quite humorous.

Up early Sunday morning and off to St. Augustine for a picnic with family and friends and the annual Easter Parade.  We all had a great time, except Fred.  The cannons at the old fort were fired every hour and Fred was very traumatized by all the noise.  He has finally calmed down and is resting in his bed.

The weather was cool today so it was a good day to be outside for a parade.   I snapped a few pictures as the parade went by.
