From OUCH! to AHHH!

John has had a tough couple of days with managing the pain from his hand surgery.  Today was the first day he was able to sit up most of the day with no severe pain.

Annie and Terry came by this morning for a visit and brought John some chicken and dumplings and a cherry cheesecake.  Great comfort food. Thank you Annie and Terry.  Of course Fred enjoyed their attention while he was here.

In the afternoon Bob and Marcy came by for a visit. It was great to see them.  Hopefully we will be able to enjoy a card game when John feels up to it.
