Up early this morning to pack up and travel to Gettysburg, PA.
This was the sunrise this morning in Callao, VA. We want to extend a very special thank you to Bob and Molly for letting us stay on their property in Virginia. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The trip was uneventful and we made it to Gettysburg before l:00 p.m. We unhooked the Vitara at the front of the park and I followed John in and as we drove through the park I was hoping he wouldn’t stop at site 195. Wouldn’t you just know it…we got site 195 again. We had this site three years ago when we stayed here. Not the best one in the park but we can manage. It seems to rain every time we stay here so we were glad it was sunny. After getting settled in we drove into town for a grocery run.
Shortly after dinner we decided to go on a walk through the park. Guess what? It started sprinkling at that very moment. Sometimes you just have to laugh. The good news is it stopped a few minutes later and we did get our walk in. Maybe it won’t rain anymore while we are here. LOL
