Today was a travel day for us. We left Gettysburg before lunch and arrived at Roaring Run RV Resort in Champion, PA later in the afternoon. Unfortunately we have 30AMP again but the temperatures here are cooler. Yeah!
After getting set up at our new spot we decided to drive over to Somerset County and visit the National Memorial for Flight 93.
Entrance to the memorial.
The sloped walls run along the field of debris from the crash.
The slatted wooden wall gives you a view of the point impact.
Each panel is affixed with the passengers names.
The white wall is the direct flight path.
The boulder in the center of the photo is the point of impact site.

On the way back to the campground we saw a sign for the Trostletown Covered Bridge. We stopped and snapped a few pictures. Just love covered bridges.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
