Up early to the sounds of rain, rain and more rain. The good thing is it keeps the temperatures down in the 70’s.
After breakfast we headed over to our niece, Shannon’s house. When we arrived they were just finishing a round of 10 Penny so we were just in time to join in for a new game. Now if you want to laugh until you hurt this is the place to be. The game in itself causes the conversation to become humorous but when you add all of our personalities together it is just too funny.
John’s brother Harold demonstrating what the effects of a bad facelift would look like.
Shannon’s daughter, Savannah, and Shannon and John contemplating Savannah’s next play.
Sandie is all smiles because she knows she has enough wild cards to go out which will not make some people happy. LOL
Shannon’s son Lester who will be 18 tomorrow. He also likes playing 10 Penny and has gotten very good at it.
Harold is laughing so hard he just had to take a break.
More laughter.
Savannah and Shannon.
Sandie with granddaughter Savannah.
We took three breaks from 10 Penny today the first one was for lunch and the second to run errands and the last was to eat delicious burgers grilled by Harold at Shannon’s.
Tomorrow will be Lester’s 18th birthday and Sandie is planning a breakfast in the morning. We will head over to Shannon’s for 9:00. I am sure we will make time for a game or two of 10 Penny some time tomorrow. I know whatever we do we will be laughing.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
Guess we're gonna have to learn how to play 10 Penny...I want in on that laughter!

It must be the game...As I remember we did a little laughing when we all played. Can't wait to spend time with you two and a good game on 10 penny.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy uour are both enjoying life. Laughter is contagious, an emotion most of us use too little. Laughter is like a mini vacation, one we don't take enough. So laugh and your life will be lengthened for its the great secret to a long life. :)
