This morning John went up on the roof to check for damages from last night’s hail storm. He fixed the cracked air conditioner cover then washed the RV. We were very lucky that our damage was minimal. As I walked through the park this morning it was sad to see the amount of damage from last night’s storm. There were lots of RV repair trucks making the rounds in the park today.
Tonight John and I drove over to Custer to have dinner and visit with Mike and Leslie. We have enjoyed seeing our friends again and plan to meet up with them in September. Tomorrow will be a travel day for us so we wanted to see them before we hit the road. Our destination will be Hardin, Montana where we will meet up with my sister and her husband.
After returning to the park tonight our neighbor told us another hail storm had moved through again. The good news was the hail was only dime sized. We couldn’t see any additional damage but it was dark so we will have to check it out tomorrow. I think that might be our cue to leave this area. LOL
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
YOU NEED TO GET THE HAIL OUTTA THERE!
ReplyDeleteTime to move out of there. Hail is scary, so is high winds living in an RV. I hope you stay safe.
