Today was travel day for us. We got up earlier than we thought and were ready to pull out of the park by 9:00. Our friends Jan and Harris stopped by this morning and we said our “see you laters” again. It was great fun getting to know them. Sure hope to meet up with them again real soon.

We arrived at McKinney Campground in Ackworth, GA around 12:30 but our site was still occupied. That meant we had to hang out at the park until the other camper left. That is no fun. John parked the rig in the parking lot at the front of the park. Lucky for us our wait was only a few minutes. After getting setup we were off to John’s niece, Renee’s. Lester and Savannah’s Mom, Shannon and Grandmother Sandie arrived shortly before us. Shannon and Sandie traveled from Jacksonville, FL to pick up Lester and Savannah. This afternoon Renee was celebrating her grandson, Jeremiah’s 3rd birthday. John got busy grilling chicken, pork chops, burgers and hot dogs.

Renee’s grandson Jeremiah blowing out the candles on his birthday cake. Happy Birthday Jeremiah. His actual birthday isn’t until the 19th but they decided to celebrate early since family was in from out of town.

Tomorrow will be travel day for Lester, Savannah, Shannon and Sandie. They will return to Jacksonville, FL. We have enjoyed our two week visit with Lester and Savannah and will miss them. We wish them safe travels.
