Slept in until around 9:00 a.m. this morning. After breakfast John, Fred and I took a walk around the park.
Later on we headed out to meet fellow RV-Dreamer Charles (Roz). We met at a restaurant at the corner of Atlantic Boulevard and First Street. Thanks for the lunch Charles. The next one is on us. It was good to see Charles and exchange stories and experiences of RV parks, restaurants and the fulltimer life. He shared his knowledge of local history. Before we left we walked through Pete’s bar which has been there since 1933 and was the setting for a chapter in one of John Grisham’s books. Pretty cool place.
After saying our goodbyes to Charles it was on to Wal-Mart to pick up prescriptions and a few other items. By the time we were finished with Wal-Mart it was time to return to the camper to feed Fred and head over to Harold and Sandies.
Sandie fixed tacos for dinner tonight. Thanks Sandie. They were delicious. After dinner we all sat around and played 10 penny.
Love the new blog pic and I'm glad you met up with Roz. He was one of our favorites from the Rally in Kerrville.
