Trip to Kohl’s and Cream Sherry Bundt Cake

Up around 9:00 this morning to sunny skies and a nice 68 degrees. Leslie, Lynette and I went out for some retail therapy after lunch. Had to have a Kohl’s fix. LOL It has been a few months since I have even seen a Kohl’s. We were successful in finding lots of bargains today. Yeah!!

Tonight Mike and Leslie and John and I finished off the left over hot dogs from last night’s cookout. Then we decided to play a round or two of 10 Penny. John baked a cream sherry cake while we were playing cards. We couldn’t wait to get a taste of it.

Oh look we still have some left for tomorrow. LOL Yum Yum!

Stone Hill Winery Cream Sherry Bundt Cake Recipe:

Chop ½ cup nuts, sprinkle some in bottom of pan. Pour in batter, top off with remaining nuts then bake 50 to 60 minutes.

Boil ½ cup butter, ½ cup sugar, ½ cup sherry. Pour over cake before inverting. Let set one hour.

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
