A Day at the Races.

Got up late today…….almost 10:00 a.m. Are we becoming lazy? LOL Since we were so late getting up we decided to have cereal for breakfast so we could head off to Kil-Kare Race track in Xenia, OH.

There were lots of cool cars. John had two 69 Camaros when we were dating so I like to see them race.

DSCN0227Just about the time time trials started a family of raccoons ran out from under this white sign between the lanes. I tried to get a picture of the raccoons but they were moving too fast. Guess they were scared with all that noise.

Here are some of the cool cars we saw.

There were also dragsters and rail cars. They had children junior dragsters racing all the way from age eight to 18. Right before we left, in the adult division, a dragster wrecked but was not hurt. My favorite cars to watch are the old muscle cars. There is nothing like the sound and look of a muscle car.

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
