Mill Creek Ranch Resort in Canton, TX

Today was travel day. Destination Mill Creek Ranch Resort in Canton, Texas. We did not leave MS until 10:30 but our drive today wasn’t but a five hour one.

When we were about 24 miles from our destination we passed a wreck which had occurred on I-20 Eastbound. The wreck involved several 18 wheelers. Traffic was backed up for miles and the rain was just started to get nasty.

It was after 5:00 p.m. when we pulled into Mill Creek Ranch Resort the rain started pouring. Not the ideal weather for setting-up. John’s feet were soaked while he was hooking up. I took Fred for his potty outing and we got paws and feet wet too. I like this park……50AMP. My kind of place. After rain stopped I was able to get a few pictures of the park.

For dinner tonight we ate a place in town called Rod’s BBQ Shack. It was a small place but the food was pretty good. John had the three meat dinner with beans and slaw and I had the BBQ sandwich with beans and okra.

Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.

  2. Geezum, y'all have been all over like fly doo-doo lately. ;)

Glad you made it, despite the rain. It never made it this far south but this time of year I'm careful what I wish for.
