Up early and on the road by 9:30 a.m. headed to Bayfield, Colorado. We arrived at the Blue Spruce RV Park before 3:00 p.m. This is a beautiful park with lots of tall trees. After getting everything set up John, Fred and I set out on a walk around the park to get some pictures.

The next few pictures are of the area surrounding the park. The scenery is beautiful.
As we walked through the park the smell of meat cooking on a grill rolled through the air. It was making us hungry. Before we made it back to the RV we stopped to talk to a man on a site just up the road from us. He is retired and will be staying at this park through the winter. He and his wife plan to go full time. He told us which areas were good for sight seeing.
As soon as we got back to the RV I started cooking dinner. We had Mexican casserole, black beans and Mexican cornbread.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
It really is a beautiful park. I wonder what its like to be a dog like Fred smelling all these new scents at each new park.
ReplyDeleteThe area that I'm from is all spruce trees and I still remember the smell of it when walking through the woods from when I was a kid.
Enjoy your stay and travel safe.

We have a Blue Spruce tree in our front yard, and our neighbors have one in their backyard. I love the smell of the pines! That park looks fabulous..I would stay a couple weeks if I were you!!!
