Today is our son, Robert’s 28th birthday. Happy Birthday Robert.
Woke up to 47 degrees this morning. I got up around 7:00 and took Fred out for his morning walk. It is nice at that time of the morning when everything is still quiet and the birds start chirping; very peaceful. Every morning I see the same people walking their dogs. Of course as we walk passed the the dogs greet each other in their dog way. You get to meet a lot of people by dog walking.
I guess John was tired because he slept until 9:30. Wow! Later on in the afternoon John cleaned out and re-arranged the stuff in the basement. He bought a new grill and wanted to put it in a place of easier access. John also removed tar from the underside of the RV. Last week when we were on our way here we traveled through some road construction where they were using tar. Very messy.
John hard at work removing the tar.

For some reason we both had it in our heads that tomorrow would be our travel day. When we realized we had lost a day “in our heads” we both laughed. Oh well, I guess we will go to Mesa Verde tomorrow and sightsee.
Laugh everyday. Happy trails. Stay safe.
Yes...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ROBERT!
ReplyDeleteYour Fred sure looks like a nice guy. Good of him to act as supervisor for the tar removal project. :)
OH YEAH, we have to get out basement re-organized to allow for the new HD TV dish. We finally gave up taking our gas grill(we only used it for breakfast)...If it's windy, we can't hardly use it, so we just take a small charcoal Weber Smokey Joe..If Den does breakfast outside, he uses an electic skiller..THAT won't blow out!!
ReplyDeleteWe do have a new 6QT Dutch oven to try this year though!
Happy Birthday to Robert! And great job on the tar removal and reorganization... now can he come and do ours next?
