Woke up to light rain this morning. We had light rain on and off all day long. Finally towards the afternoon it stopped. The sky was overcast most of the day which kept the temperatures cooler.
Tonight the gang met over at Mike and Leslie’s for dinner. Leslie cooked a large pot of tortilla soup and invited us all over. Sherri brought some garden salad and a Jello salad. I brought a Mexican corn dip and an apple cake. Everything was very tasty.
After dinner we all settled in to watch “It’s Complicated”. We had seen this movie before and enjoyed watching it again. When the movie was over it was still early so we decided to play a round of 10 Penny. Leslie was the winner with a score of 90 points.
We have tickets to attend the Full Moon Program at Chimney Rock tomorrow. I sure hope the rain will stay away.
